Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani →
The re-examination of his case was held September 25th through 28th. From the very beginning it was demanded he recant. Even before the case was heard or the trial completed. During one hearing he was told to recant and he responded, “You ask me to recant. Recant means to return. What do you wish me to return to? The blasphemy that I was in before Christ?” The judges responded, “To the religion...

kidwiththebulletsoul: It’s so easy for us to elevate talking about Jesus as opposed to actually spending time with Jesus and experiencing Him and the Father in true, intimate worship. Fellowship shouldn’t be fulfilling our Jesus quota for the day. It should lead us to a point of desiring the personal, intimate, gritty solace with Him all the more.

Pleasure...
It is our human nature to be egotistic, hedonism has been man’s constant companion. Just look at Eve, she had desires just like you and I. she wanted to reach that pinnacle in life. The serpent is still alive and well. Many times in life we are encouraged by the ones around us to pursue “The (American) Dream”, a concept built on materialistic conquests. Society tells us it is...

Our Hope Is in Christ →
“Your steady, solid hope this morning – and it is the only lasting hope – is that if you will trust Christ as your precious Savior and your supremely-valued King, then you will be folded into the love of God in a way that no terrorist, no torture, no demons, no disasters, no disease, no man, no microbe, no government, and no grave can destroy. That’s the hope of this text. That’s...

Our Steady Hope: Nothing Can Separate Us from the...
Romans 8:35–39 35 Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 Just as it is written, “FOR YOUR SAKE WE ARE BEING PUT TO DEATH ALL DAY LONG; WE WERE CONSIDERED AS SHEEP TO BE SLAUGHTERED.” 37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced...

Muslims & "Son of God" →
“Motivated by a desire to remove unnecessary stumbling blocks for Muslims, some have advocated translating the Greek behind “Son of God” in a way that does not carry such biological connotations. That means avoiding such Father and Son language. But historically, the problem of ambiguity in Jesus’ Sonship has been solved by context and teaching, not translation.” (Excerpt from...
